Hesperinon/Anatolikon, 18 December 2013

Revisited version of NWSE performance, 2010
Hesperinon/Anatolikon
Two composers, George Hatzimichelakis and Peter Verdonck composed two
contemporary interpretations of Kyrie Eleison,
according to the Byzantine musical tradition and the Gregorian Chant.
A trio consisted of Peter Verdonck; baritone sax, Iris Thissen;
cello and Benjamin Heymans; contrabass
play the two pieces standing once on the Eastern side of a hall and once on the Western side
as it is divided from a rope line indicating North-South.
The audience has to stand always on the other side of the musicians(without passing the line).

HELLAAS ;
tekst werk, afmetingen variabel
